Manuscript Submission

At WPpublishing, we are a nonfiction literary book publisher. We only accept manuscripts that meet certain criteria written by subject-matter-experts whose works are targeted towards federal, state, local and private industry.
If your manuscript submission is not selected for publishing, we will notify you of the reason for our determination. As a publishing firm created by an author for authors, we understand the importance of providing timely feedback that will allow you to make improvements and ultimately secure a successful submission.

Guidelines for Submitting Your Manuscript

•  Provide contact Information: Provide your name, address, telephone number and email on cover page, typed in Microsoft Word.
• Provide a one-two page detailed synopsis of your manuscript that captures an overview of the story line.
  Provide a title page: Please include book title, byline, approximate word count, target audience, book category, and if manuscript has been previously published.
• Provide copy of manuscript: Using Microsoft Word, submit manuscript in 12-13 pt., using Arial, Calibri, Garamond, or Times Roman, double spaced to include page numbers on the bottom-center of each page.

Publishers Toolbox

Publishing Process: Once we have reviewed and accepted your manuscript submission, the following steps will occur:

• Signing With WPpublishing: Author sign and submit initial payment.
  Meet Publisher: An introductory telephonic meeting will be scheduled with the Managing Editor and
• Publishing Consultant (PC) to meet you and learn more about your vision for the book.
• Meet Your Publishing Team: Your PC will coordinate your editorial, marketing and graphic design team members to meet you either virtually or telephonically. Your PC will serve are your primary contact for each phase of the publishing process.
• Quality Review: Once your book has been designed your will be provided a PDF copy for review prior to moving to the various proofreading stages. Your input is an essential part of ensuring the integrity of your vision remains intact.
• Approve Final Product: Once all edits are complete, you will sign-off on the book cover and interior content.
• WPpublishing will submit the final approved print-ready file for printing.
• Work Closely With Marketing and Promotions Team: While you are waiting for the printing of your new book, you will work closely with our creative staff to develop both your multi-media and social media content. Building and promoting your presence is paramount!

The Cost of Getting Published

Authors investment is the initial process for becoming publish. Authors share risks in return for greater control and higher payouts. WPpublishing has created an infrastructure for expediting the publishing process at a fraction of the cost than of self-publishing. Production costs will vary on an individual per-book basis depending on a variety of factors, e.g., editing, proofreading, page count, custom illustrations, book cover design, etc. WPpublishing offers a cost effective processes for getting your manuscript to print sooner, and reaching your customer base. We control our distribution and invest in the cost of getting your finished product to market.

Author’s Responsibility

Authors agree they are the sole proprietors of their Works. Are committed to working collaboratively with WPpublishing staff to produce the highest quality product in accordance with established quality standards. Provide timely submissions as agreed. Is legally authorized to grant WPpublishing certain rights and authorities to act on behalf of the author. Authors agree not to publish any Works that would interfere with or injure the sale or distribution of the Work specified in the agreement.

Publisher’s Responsibility

WPpublishing is committed to delivering the highest quality product to market. Once an author and manuscript has been accepted we will provide the following:
1. Obtain an ISBN number and bar code
2. Obtain a Library of Congress Control Number
3. Provide a Publishing Consultant
4. Assist with identifying author niche market
5. Assist with providing marketing, promotions and sales support to the author
6. File for Copyright of completed book on behalf of author
7. Submit book for printing
8. Manage book distribution both online and traditional
9. Develop author press kit
10. Post author profile on our website
11. Assist with optimizing author social media presence
12. Grant access to author-only webpage
13. Seek book review opportunities
14. Assist with establishing book signing venues
15. Provide ongoing support for author development
