WP Publishing Financial Literacy Scholarship

Deadline: August 31, 2022

Who’s Eligible: Current University of Northern Iowa (UNI), undergraduate, graduate, or adult learners from historically underrepresented backgrounds pursuing a world-class UNI education.

Purpose: This scholarship is designed to encourage students of historically underrepresented backgrounds to improve and enhance their financial literacy skills and adopt positive financial habits for managing their personal finances both in college and beyond.

Amount: $500.00. May be used for any college major program of study.

Requirement: Read a copy of “Salary Rich and Retirement Poor” and write a 500-word essay on why being financially literate is important to you and the top three lessons you learned from the guide and how you will incorporate the lessons into managing your personal finances.
