OFFICIAL CASH GIVEAWAY GAME RULES:
METHOD TO ENTER: Participants must begin by registering using the links provided on the social media outlets promoting the “10 for 10 Cash Giveaway”, or WP Publishing website. Participants must, purchase promotional book, tag author, and share promotion with three friends to qualify for the random $1000.00 cash drawing for 10,000 books sold. Participants may begin to enter on November 15, 2017 through December 31, 2017 no-later-than 11:59 p.m. est.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the WP Publishing Cash Giveaway (the “Prize”), you must be 21 years of age or older, a legal U.S. resident, and have registered using one of the social media outlets or WP Publishing website and followed the promotional guidelines for entering the Prize. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Prize. Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide accurate required information on their registration form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Sponsor, may be disqualified. No facsimiles or mechanical reproductions of entries are allowed. Entrants may not enter under multiple identities or use any other device or artifice to enter multiple times in excess of the limit stated herein. Any Entrant who attempts to enter in excess of the number of times allowed will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes won, in Sponsor’s discretion. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: All entries must be received WP Publishing by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2017.
HOW WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN: Online entry forms will be collected by WP Publishing. Winners will be selected in a random electronic drawing held within 24 hours of the 10,000th promotional book sold. 10 entry forms from qualifying participants will be electronically drawn at random to determine the winners. The prize winners need not to be present to win. Odds of being selected as a winner are dependent on the numbers of entries received. Sponsors are not eligible to participate.
PRIZE TO BE AWARDED/VALUE: The prize will be $1,000.00 in the format of a check. It will be awarded to the winners by mailing address provided in registration. Winners will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes and the completion of appropriate tax forms if necessary.
PRIZE WINNERS: Where permitted by law, the winner grants (and agrees to confirm said grant in writing upon the request of the Sponsor) to Sponsor, and those acting pursuant to Sponsor’s direction or control, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the Internet, at any time or times, the winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notice, review or approval. Further, winner will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release (where lawful), and provide evidence of identity and age with a valid state or federally issued identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport), all within fourteen (14) days of prize notification. If said documents are not returned timely, or if prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found not to have complied with these Official Rules, declines the prize for any reason, or is ineligible for any reason, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to an alternate winner selected at random.
RELEASE: By participating, participants release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons (including, without limitation, death) or property, arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from or in connection with the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this Prize, or any Prize-related activity. NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, IN THE EVENT THAT THE PRECEDING RELEASE IS DETERMINED BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION TO BE INVALID OR VOID FOR ANY REASON, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT, BY ENTERING THE PRIZE, (I) ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (II) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, ANY OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
TAXES/NO PRIZE SUBSTITUTIONS: Prize winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes relative to the prize, plus any other incidentals, if applicable. No prize substitutions or transfers.
PRIVACY NOTICE: WP Publishing on occasion uses information collected on these entry forms to forward information about products or services we feel may be of interest and may share information collected about entrants included on the entry forms with other units within the family of WP Publishing, LLC, and/or with other reputable third-party companies such as any co-sponsors, so they can inform you of products and services that may be of interest to you. GOVERNING LAW: By entering, participants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Prize Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor in connection with the Prize, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Georgia without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. All participants hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the Gwinnett County Courts, Superior Court, located at 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
